Extended and remixed 12" versions of the big 80s hits.Ultra Fantastico can often be heard broadcasting overnight and on Sundays as a simulation of a retro medium wave radio station. This is based on a questionable fondness for the warm, nostalgic sound of pop music broadcast in mono on AM radio. Exactly as millions of people used to hear new music on the radio - such as national BBC Radio 1 - in the UK before FM became more common during the 1980s.
